Bio Suzie Bonner
Suzie Bonner (Suzanne Elizabeth Bonner) was born and raised in the south of England. She had an unusual upbringing, growing up with her younger sister in two old people’s homes (one after the other) run by her parents. Being in an environment full of people and knowing that her mum and dad were never far away, she felt safe. Living in a big house in the countryside, one literally in the middle of nowhere, in breathtaking surroundings, she had lots of space around her. She felt free – free to explore, free to bond with nature, free to let her imagination run wild…
The focus at school was very much academic and she went on to study for an O.N.D. in Business Studies, and subsequently joined a firm of accountants. But it wasn’t long before she knew this wasn’t for her. But what was for her? It was panic stations. She thought about a job outside – a landscape gardener perhaps, a gamekeeper, a helicopter pilot? Her careers officer suggested further education. She thought this was wise, and moved to Worcester, where she enjoyed the life of a student while studying for a B.A. (Hons.) degree in Combined Studies (geography and French).
Still not knowing what she wanted to do workwise, but knowing that she felt attracted to the idea of living and working abroad, she discovered the profession of teaching English as a foreign language. She qualified in London (R.S.A. Preparatory Certificate for the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language), and a few months later, she left for sunnier climes to teach English in Greece and then Brazil.
Approximately five years later, she returned to England and taught in London, where she also gained a higher qualification (R.S.A. Diploma in the Teaching of English as Foreign Language to Adults). In 1992, she moved to the Netherlands, where she has been teaching business English ever since.
Soulz Energy
In 1999, Suzie became interested in spirituality and alternative healing (including NLP, hypnosis/regression therapy, soul retrieval, aura healing and shamanism) and in 2001 qualified as a vibrational therapist. Since then, she has followed numerous other courses and workshops including Quantum Touch®, Touch of Matrix©, sound healing and intuitive painting using wax (encaustic painting).
Intuitive paintings
In 2018 she started making intuitive paintings as gifts for family and friends by tuning in to their energy. She calls this kind of painting a Soulz Image©. In 2020 she sold her first paintings commissioned by private individuals, and in 2021 she received her first company commission.
In 2022 creative expression becomes increasingly important and the development of her career as an artist (in various forms) takes shape. This is where she’s been heading … without knowing …
